The Planner

Now I get a little didgy when my Sky planner gets below a certain percent. My optimum is around 35 per cent, it has gone down to 4 per cent and I'm in a panic.

See the thing is hubby and I record very different things, mine is total trash telly, mostly reality crap, in the main Real Housewives of where ever, Bondi Beach (I like to at least feel like I know what goes on in Australia having family there). There may be a few random documentaries added that have piqued my interest. Hubby likes to record things like Game of Thrones (I got in to it) Homeland (he hasn't watched) and thank god it isn't Formula One season, they take up about 20 per cent all on there own in HD.

The usual way things work is when hubby is working he goes to bed at 10pm I then watch my shit and delete, freeing up space. As he is not working he is going to bed later than me and I haven't had time to catch up. The whole system is now shot to shit. Add in to that the kids now know how to download stuff.

The main cause of arguments in our house is when there is a planner clash, hubby has booked something and so have I or the kids. I take the sensible route of is it on a + 1 we can then accommodate everyone.

It amazes me really how the telly dominates our lives and how the planner is the cause of so much annoyance.

That would really annoy me, not being the boss of the TV plan! That's partly why we don't have Sky+ - when would we find time to watch everything?
Good luck x.
